We have 200 stories to print for Volume III of "A Pilot's Pilot"
This is the most we've ever had to print into one volume, and I can't tell you how excited I am! From Australia, Mexico, Canada, along with all of the overwhelming stories from the USA, this will be our biggest volume yet! I'd first like to thank you all for sending in your stories, artwork, and concert photos these past few months! YOU are what make these tiny, special books possible! Because of your stories in our past 2 volumes, your word of mouth, tweets and tumblr shares, the work of "A Pilot's Pilot" has really spread it's wings! In light of this wonderful news, I'd like to add a hearty KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING! As long as pilots have stories to tell, we will be here to collect them and hand them off to the guys, one way or another! |
Editing - Printing - Snail Mail It can take up to two months to edit all of your stories online and into the book. We try to check for spelling, We take out all last names, We make sure we only use our personal photos and the photos/artwork you've sent in, then space everything out, pick a nice font, and make sure every page makes sense. We use the website Blurb to put all the stories together along with photos and artwork. It then can take another month for the book to be printed and mailed to our humble headquarters. |
Ordering Volumes I, II, & III
For the first printing of the book, we only order 4 books; two for us and 2 for the boys. I'm planning to add a page to this site that allows YOU to order your own books off of the site BLURB. All three volumes will be available for you to purchase. *We do not price the books* - Blurb.com prices the books because they are the ones printing them. I'm considering breaking Volume III into two parts to try and keep the website pricing down. Less pages means less money for you to spend. As always - if you have any questions - feel free to email us at [email protected] |
The end of JANUARY is the deadline for all stories wanting to be in Volume III.
All stories submitted after JANUARY 31st will be added into Volume 4
Remember - We collect stories that answer the questions: - What has Twenty One Pilots done for you? - What encouragements can you give to other pilots? - Why do you listen to Twenty One Pilots? *and any artwork or photos you'd like to send in* **Take your time with your story, think it through, we love reading them. Why do you listen to this music? Why do you get excited for the concerts. Why do you keep coming back to TOP? What have you learned from their music? Do you have any encouraging words for someone who may be struggling?** |
