I first saw Twenty One Pilots at Lollapalooza. My cousin and I got to the stage about 15 minutes before they came out, so we weren't able to get as close as I would've liked. During that waiting period, it started to rain and made the experience more exciting. When Tyler and Josh came out, the crowd went wild, even those towards the back by us. Never did they lose the crowd; everyone was always involved. During "Car Radio", I got some of the biggest chills I ever experienced seeing everyone move in unison. Afterwards, they were at an autograph tent. I paid another $10 to buy Vessel again to get it signed, a requirement by Fuse. After half an hour of waiting, I got to the front and was too star struck to even say anything besides hi. Joshua smiled back at me and thanked us for coming out. My throat closed and my heart began to pump fast. Unfortunately, pictures weren't allowed and security was rushing us, but I was in awe for the rest of the weekend. They honestly put on one of the best shows I had ever seen, possibly even life changing. Ever since then, their music has had a much deeper meaning and I can't imagine what I would've done without them.
